1. Ownership and Scope
1.1. This website, under the domain [www.clayfreckles.com], is owned by [Company Legal Name / Owner Name], VAT/Tax ID number [NIF/NIPC], registered at [Full Business Address], hereinafter referred to as Clay Freckles.
1.2. These General Conditions of Sale govern browsing and purchases made on the Clay Freckles online store.
1.3. Browsing the website and placing any order implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy.

2. Products and Information
2.1. Clay Freckles sells handcrafted and/or ceramic products. Due to the handmade nature of these items, slight variations in color, shape, or texture may occur between the actual product and the photos displayed. These minor differences do not constitute a defect.
2.2. Product images on the website are for illustrative purposes only. Customers must carefully read the descriptions and product specifications before completing a purchase.
2.3. All products displayed are subject to stock availability.
3. Pricing
3.1. All prices listed on the site are in Euros (€) and include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the legal rate in force in Portugal.
3.2. Product prices do not include shipping fees, which are calculated and presented to the Customer before final order confirmation.
3.3. Clay Freckles reserves the right to change prices and product specifications at any time without prior notice. Applicable prices are those displayed at the time the Customer completes the order.
4. Orders and Registration
4.1. To place an order, the Customer must provide accurate and complete information (full name, delivery address, Tax ID where applicable, email, and phone number).
4.2. The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of all data provided.
4.3. Orders for delivery to PO Boxes are not accepted.
4.4. Clay Freckles reserves the right to decline or cancel orders in cases of: out-of-stock items; payment failure or non-receipt; incorrect or incomplete billing/delivery details; suspicion of fraud or improper conduct.
5. Payment Methods
5.1. The online store accepts the following payment methods: MB WAY; Multibanco Reference (Portugal); Credit / Debit Card (Visa, Mastercard); Bank Transfer.
5.2. For orders paid via Multibanco Reference or Bank Transfer, the order will remain on hold for a maximum of 3 days. If payment is not received within this period, the order will be automatically cancelled.
6. Right of Withdrawal (Returns and Exchanges)
6.1. Under EU law (Directive 2011/83/EU / Portuguese Decree-Law no. 24/2014), Customers residing in the EU have the right to withdraw from the contract and return purchased items within 14 calendar days from the day they receive the products, without providing a reason.
6.2. To exercise this right, the Customer must notify Clay Freckles via email at [email@clayfreckles.com] before the 14-day period expires.
6.3. Returned items must be sent to [Return Address] in their original condition, unused, undamaged, securely packaged, and accompanied by the original invoice.
6.4. Unless the product is defective or sent in error, direct shipping costs for returning the items are the responsibility of the Customer.
6.5. Upon receipt and inspection of the returned items, refunds will be processed via the original payment method (whenever possible) within a maximum of 14 days.
7. Warranty and Transport Damage
7.1. All items are covered by the legal consumer warranty in accordance with EU regulations (Portuguese Decree-Law no. 84/2021).
7.2. If a product arrives damaged due to transport, the Customer must report the issue to Clay Freckles within 48 hours of receiving the package, providing photos of the outer box and the damaged item.
8. Liability and Security
8.1. Clay Freckles implements appropriate technical measures to protect customer data and transaction security. However, as an online platform, browsing the site implies acceptance of the inherent risks associated with internet usage.
8.2. The website and store are intended exclusively for individuals with the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts (18 years or older).
9. Personal Data Protection
9.1. The processing of personal data complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable national data protection laws.

11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
11.1. These General Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese Law.
11.2. Any disputes arising from purchases made on this website shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Portuguese Courts.
